Fridge Thermometer
Just a quick request for recommendations. I'm looking to add to my Dometic 3-way a relatively inexpensive but reasonably accurate wireless thermometer where I can monitor the interior temps without opening the door.
Tried a search but couldn't find anything on the forum despite the fact I know that I've read some comments regarding this in the past.

Sensorpush Bluetooth - very good, but not cheap
Any of the various indoor/outdoor remote wireless thermometers work.

I have purchased some at Walmart for literally $10, worked fine, e.g.

Maybe you would like an alarm, e.g.

Many options.

Amazon has a lightning deal on this unit with two remote sensors for just over $14. I find that measuring the freezer temp is not a priority for me, will use the extra sensor for outdoor temp. I just bought one.

Steve,
Off topic but I see that you too are a rider - I have the last production model Kawasaki Z1000 in the USA.
Are your bikes traveling with you?
Ruding once you get to your destinations?

Here's a question. Putting a standard indoor/outdoor thermometer remote in the fridge appears to work fine. I just got done testing it in my home fridge but not without some discrepancies.
My home fridge is set to be at 40 degrees. My indoor remote module reads around 35 and the main indoor/outdoor unit (I put them both in the fridge) reads around 36. My son's SS brewing thermometer reads at around 30 degrees. That's a lot of variance between 4 sensing units.
How do I find a thermometer which is actually accurate? Is there one that reads reliably and would give me a true account of the temp?

Glenn,
NOTHING OUT there beats the accuracy (can be calibrated), ease of use, Bluetooth up to 100 feet, the ability to set an Alarm, etc.
And the data revealed to you degrees at present time, in degrees in the form of graphs over the hour, the day, the week, the month or year.
Yes, it cost $40 each & the battery needs to be replaced every 9 months or so but when reporting my findings to the Giants amongst us, this part I get right everytime.
And knowing the Humidity is critical also.
Here is a screenshot of present time, etc (the screenshots are not thst clear on the forum but they are in person).
I now own 4/Four units!
