Default who drives

The man of the house prefers to drive, so I have honed my navigation skills.
we make a good team.
I do know how, tho' and if necessary I could get us home from anywhere.

Same here husband drives and I tell him where to go. I navigate the GPS plus usually plan out our trips.

DH used to do all the driving because I wasn't comfortable towing the giant bread box. I suspect that I'll do most of the driving with Bruno - couldn't be happier.

We're about 50/50. Chino loves to drive at night, I drive most of the daytime hours that we're on the road. I don't mind driving at night, but get too much glare after my Lasik surgery to do it comfortably for very long.

With most short trips I prefer to drive and DW prefers to read but on our long trips (6 to 40+ hours) we share 50/50. This has allowed us to make tremendous time on long trips since we only stop for fuel.

We share the driving 50/50. 2 hours each, then switch. Taking short-stint turns is a very safe way to cover a lot of miles. (Mind you, DH says I actually do All the driving, b/c when it isn't my turn, I'm still back seat driving. )

I do 100% of the driving. My wife feels it's too big for her to drive. I used to drive tractor trailer rigs, so this is really easy.

I generally stop every couple of hours for potty breaks and stretch breaks. We have a dog, and she needs to go every once in a while. Plus, like someone else said, it's safer that way. I don't want to find myself driving so long that I get highway hypnosis. On long stretches with little traffic, it's a real thing.

My little lady does 99% of the driving and after 49 years this is the only time I get to tell her where to go.

I would say I do a little more than she does but when more navigation comes to play I do that and she drives

I do almost all of the driving. DW will only drive when we're on the interstate and I need to get some "beauty" rest.

If I'm awake, I really do want to be driving.

My wife is used to driving a small car with a stick and is uncomfortable driving a big vehicle with an automatic. So, I do almost all the driving.
