Default Fiberglass thickness

Trying to plan my cable entries for a future solar install.

I was thinking of using a couple of cable grips/gland nuts to make sure the entry is liquid tight, but I am not sure if they have enough thread to make it through the roof.

So, how thick on average, are the fiberglass shells/roofs?

if you have a roof vent, you can check there by removing the inside trim pieces - or if you have a crank up antenna- you could remove the trim pieces and see.

My 2006 PW lexor roof is about 3/16" I'd guess.
