Default Fiamma awning sensor bypass

I have a Fiamma 45 automatic electric awning on our Pleasure way plateau TS. It has a wind sensor which I suspect acts as a rain sensor which is a total pain in the butt, if one wants to sit outside in a gentle rain.
It is a total whimp and automatically withdraws at the first rain drop.
Has anyone found a way to manually turn on and off the sensor that makes it withdraw? From what I can see it appears that the rain weight pushes down the awning enough to activate the wind sensor and there is not a specific rain sensor. Short of going deep into the pleasure way electrical panel as the fuse for that circuit is buried away, any other ideas out there? I suspect others are equally unimpressed by this automatic, first breeze or rain drop, self furling awning.
Thanks, Roger B.C.
