Default Era 170a additional front seat

Anyone installed an additional seat between the 2 captain chairs? Looking for something movable my dogs can sit on

Welcome to the forum Steve!

Some on this and airforums have done some innovative things to make their pets comfortable. I'm sure those with the Sprinter chassis will offer their thoughts.

Steve,
We also have a70A. It's a 2013 that we bought last summer and have only been able to take one trip in so far. I took out the bench seat and built this kennel in its place. Our dog weighs 70 lbs and fits in it just fine. She happily spends time in it when we're parked but when we're driving she just goes to sleep in the passenger's footwell or works her way to the passenger's window to look out. I put a scrap of plywood between the driver's seat and engine bump to keep her out of the driver's feet. Before our next trip I'll cut one that fits better so it will be more effective. I don't know how big your dog is or how it travels but I'd be hesitant to put something in there that enables it to interfere with the driver.
