Default El Cheapo Peeling/Flaking Vinyl Upholstery

About only 2 years after we got our 2018 Thor Gemini, the driver’s seat starting peeling vinyl, even though it rarely had been driven and windshield and door windows totally block sunlight with sunshades. Then about a year or so later, the couch is doing the same thing!!! 😡

The vinyl is paper thin. I’ve never seen this happen on any piece of vinyl furniture before.

I called Thor, but I am out of luck as it is past one year warranty. 😡

The old way: build it to last with heavy, quality materials. Care about longevity, reputation, and repeat sales.

The new way: build it to sell at maximum profit with cheap, flimsy materials. Care about making quick, one-time sales. Look for foreign buyer and sell out company and dump employees ASAP.

A quick way is to buy seat and couch covers and place over them. Or take to an upholstery shop and have them redo the seats. You can go the cheap way or more costly way.
