Default Double take time

We went for a drive last weekend to see how the bald eagles were doing at
Lake Erie near Selkirk, ON. While just cruising along the shoreline (Lakeshore
Drive?) I spotted this antique, and I had to back up and take a couple of pics with
my cell phone camera, sorry about the poor quality, and it was just starting to snow.
I could see "Home and Park" on the weathered front of the raised roof, as well as
on the sides at the rear of the van. What confused me was no 3 windows on the
leading edge of the raised roof. I checked the Roadtrek website when we got home,
and on the history page there was a picture of a similar van, as one of the original
Roadtrek motorhomes, I guess.

Link to Roadtrek history page.

If this van is owned by a classbforum member, I'd be interested in hearing more about it.
It looked like it was in pretty fair shape for it's estimated age.

Wow Mike that is great. That Roadtrek could be from 1978 so maybe 33 years old!

I'm not even sure they were called Roadtreks at that time, were they?
Anyway, it was quite an interesting looking van and it was made by H&P based on the
badging and the Roadtrek website. That high top raised roof is pretty impressive, and I'm
sure it holds the record for interior headroom in a conversion van.
If I get another chance, and it's still there when the weather breaks and warms up,
I'll head back and ask if I can take some better photos.
Little bit of history?

Mike is right. They weren't called Roadtreks back then but rather Home and Park something or anothers.

Fantastic find!
