Default Dometic FanTastic Vent Digital Remote Compatibility

My wife managed to drop the digital remote for our FanTastic vent into a bucket of water! As you can imagine, it no longer works (even after drying out).

I've looked for replacements online but actually couldn't find one - we have a model 6300/7300 and all the hand-held remotes seem to be for the 6350/7350, which have the extra reverse fan direction feature and related button on the remote.

Does anyone know if that remote with the extra button will still work with my vent? (and if so, will it add the reversing capability as well?)

thanks!

It would be best to call the company directly. If that remote does not work they may have some NOS available.

Frankly I can't imagine needing a remote. JMO, I don't have one, just set the temp control. On the rare occasion if need be, say laying in bed, I would just do a sit up and turn it on or off. LOL

Some Fantastic fans have no manual control on the fan and are only usable with a remote...

Well if that's the case, it obviously makes sense, albeit, it doesn't make sense that Fantastic would make it like that.

If you had to leave the bed, well, think about it?
