that will vary by market (US, CA, EU, UK etc.)- the point of the thread is that the result in the US market will be greatly affected by regs and market response in the EU/UK markets.

commercial chassis/ lt trucks are exempt from many safety regs ( that's why SUVS are cheap) but emissions is different.
In AZ most of my vehicles do a OBD scan
the B due to GVWR ( and my old Cadillacs) have to go on the dyno rollers and are tested at idle, 33 mph and 55 mph
the standards for each are different, the B being a 2006 is very tight -
the pre 75's ( no cat) are very loose: 500 ppm HC, 5% CO
