The point here, on this forum, is not to debate pandemic policy. The point is to put the resulting realities in the Class B context, because that matters a great deal for travelers.

You have given me an additional idea – I will say that. The pejorative "Karen" is less common outside the United States but it is spreading quickly, and people are learning what it means. From Wiki:

"...perceived to be entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is considered appropriate or necessary..."

That is exactly what these bullies are, who are targeting visitors from out-of-province. They are Karens who are antisocial, anti-family, anti-responsibility and anti-anything that they perceive does not immediately serve THEM, and them alone.

So if I end up confronting and filming one of these creatures if they have the nerve to approach my van, that’s one of the words that will be coming out of my mouth, loud and clear: KAREN.

As for provincial policy, you don’t have to tell me to read it – I was the person who came up with part of it. The bubble form for traveler tracking that was published last week? It was my idea. It may not have been exclusively my idea as others were also working on the problem. But 48 hours after I proposed that particular management approach to the Premier, my MLA, and everyone in between, it effectively became law in Nova Scotia. I got an email response from Dr. Strang personally after I submitted my request that they develop that tool.
