I've been in CO for about six weeks boondocking, Walden for 1 week, south of Montrose for 3, north of Buena Vista for 2, and one day east of Pagosa Springs. I wuz gonna stay in Pagosa for about 10 days but the motorbike developed an issue that I can't fix until I get home to my better tool selection. Weekends are busy, just get somewhere by no later than Thurs, Wed is better. We did check out the Twin Lakes area, too much of a zoo for this dude, pretty though.

Currently overnighting only just south of Caballo, NM. 5 bars on T-Mobile but the data throughput leaves a lot to be desired.

We have been in Central Colorado since mid-June. Leadville, the Durango-Ridgcrest corridor. Hiking is our thing, so trailheads are a common choice. Crowds are definitely sparser than 20 and 21. Where we are now near Leadville, is pretty empty. Previously, it was a zoo. We've also seen nearly empty FS campgrounds.

It's also hotter than previous years by maybe 10° or so, but we are not complaining, given that home is >100°. We tend to stay at 10,000ft and above.
