Default Class B's seen on your travels -> photos please!

The "Class B Index" is the ratio or popularity of Class B's to other types of RV's.

For example, Tofino and Ucluelet on Vancouver Island has a very high density of Class B RV's. You'd see lots of them. We'd visit once or twice per year and always see lots of Class B Motorhomes. More B's than other RV classes for sure. Vancouver Island would rank pretty high in general. Lots of van conversions around Parksville and Victoria etc.

I've seen lots of posts where people lament the lack of Class B RV's in their area.

I am always surprised by how many Class B camper vans I see around Bouctouche, NB. It is beautiful but off the beaten track for sure.
I would say Bouctouche ranks very close to Tofino and Ucluelet on the "Class B Index" scale. I see newer B's here compared to my experience out west.

Today, in a one hour period, I saw a Safari Condo, an Airstream Westfalia, two Pleasure-Ways, a Roadtrek and four "others"!

Post photos of every B you see

I saw a bevy of B's at Camping municipal de la Pointe in Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec. Must have been at least 8.

A Traverse, a Leisure Travel and a Pleasure-way all in a row in this photo:

Camping municipal de la Pointe in Rivière-du-Loup was very nice.

There are several Class Bs traveling the Alaska Highway. We completed our trip up today and are now camped in Fairbanks, Alaska and there are four other Bs at last count on the grounds. Still, the Class C's dominate the roads. The we're several rental Bs in Banff and Jasper. Canadreams rents Pleasure-way Excels.

It looks nice. I've been through there at least 3 times, and wasn't aware of it.
Language/signage problem?
Next time, for sure.

It is a nice campground Mike. Clean bathrooms and showers. Everything is maintained well. There is a park down the hill and restaurants nearby. Site 18 has a great water-view. Ask for water-view if you like that - they don't just give them to you automatically.

We saw this New-West in the campground.

We saw this Roadtrek SS-Agile with California plates at a Bas-Saint-Laurent tourist info center in Quebec. They were a long way from home!

The scenery in the background looks like much of the scenery along Route 132 nearer to the town
of Gaspe, and along the southern shoreline. The areas closest to the mouth of the St. Lawrence, and the Gulf itself, I think have more wooded areas, and some pretty nice views from the road as it climbs to the higher altitudes along the eastward coast.
The areas along the narrower parts of the St Lawrence River between Montreal and Matane
were more meadows and farm land and rolling hills towards the inland areas of the peninsula, IIRC.
I think Route 132 around the peninsula, is one of the most scenic, serene, and relaxing drives we've
ever done. You're lucky to be so close to it.

Mike - we took a short break in Berthier-sur-Mer. Day use parking was free and it was $20 to stay the night. No hookups but the public bathroom remained open overnight. We didn't stay the night but might on future trip through the area. We'd like to get back that way and check out Kamouraska etc.

On our Banff/Jasper/Alaska Highway/Alaska trip we are seeing a lot of different RVs from foreign countries. This one was in our campground in Denali NP and again later in Talkeetna. It is a Sprinter cutaway chassis it appears but is more B like than your Views and Navions.

This one was in our campground at Muncho Lake NP. It is a 4wd Sprinter short wheelbase. The owners had it shipped to Seattle and will tour until November and ship it home from Baltimore, MD. They said they took it to Iceland before and have plans maybe for Africa. The bathroom is across the back similar to the 2005 Airstream Westfalia Sprinter. They have a bunk bed arrangement on the driver side.

Here is the web site for the other Sprinter, the CS Reisemobile Duo.

http://www.cs-reisemobile.de/cs-modelle ... .htm#start

CS Reisemobile has a varied line up of B Vans worth looking at even if you can't get them here.

It seems as if the B ratio where I've been is well below 0.001. The whales (those swollen fifth wheel trailers) are the kings of the road. It's always fun to swap stories on the rare occasion another RoadTrek camps nearby. Which is why it was so strange to see another RT in a Texas State Park not even slow down and wave as they passed by looking for a campsite.

Here in Alaska we noticed a lot of smaller Class C's and truck campers. In talking to a few people I found out most of them are rentals. People fly into Anchorage and rent them. It is an economical way to see Alaska.

Funny, I've had that happen a lot. Not sure if they're distracted while driving and don't see me, or if they do see me, realize who it is, and look the other way.
We sometimes approach other class Bers out there, particularly if there's something unusual or interesting about their van or equipment setup, but generally prefer that others approach us first. We don't want to bother people who might be on a tighter schedule than us. It happened once or twice a few years back, so we tend to be more cautious.

Humans are all different. Some are friendly. Some are not. Some are inquisitive. Some are not.Just remember being friendly is always a plus and you should not be ashamed of having that trait.I feel sorry for unfriendly people. They almost always lose out.I love the pics.Keep them coming.

Canada loves you, too.

Now, if Service Ontario would please read this post and call me to come pick up the EDLs which we have been waiting for for over 4 weeks, just to change the address, I could cross the river, and show the USA some love ($$$$$$).
