By cruiser, I'm assuming something around 7-900 lbs.
You're pretty much stuck with a max weight of 400lbs (I think??) for hanging one outside.
For inside transport you would need a custom build. There would not be very much room in the van if you carry a bike in there.
I travel with a motorcycle in a cargo trailer behind a 2000 200 Versatile Roadtrek(no back door). It works quite well. I also have room for the safety gear,gravity chair, tools, spare parts, tires and misc. I usually wear out two rears and one front tire on my extended trips. Carrying back up tires saves quite a bit of hassle and $$.
It costs about 2 mpg to pull the trailer, well worth it for the fun that the motorcycle provides.
