Chinook Class B Sprinter Van
An old RV name is in the Class B business as an extended body Sprinter van. From the looks it is a wanna B clone with old school features. Probably the most interesting aspect in all these latest is the taking advantage of the extended body Sprinter. It doesn't impress me but here it is for those that might want to comparative shop the dealer entries for price.

I think these are built by Mid-West Vans. One of the dealer websites has those and the Chinook branded vans side by side. The interior appointments look the same with both brands.
At Hershey, the Mid-West models were being offered at Airstream Interstate prices - $155-165k. Another interesting thing is these Chinooks are branded Frieghtliner, not Mercedes. Why would they do that?

Actually the website shows both MB and FL branding. They probably bought what they could readily get their hands on.

Nice find Davydd.
I think Wincrasher has it right. There are similarities. The Chinook even has what appears to be a door mounted spare like I've seen in photos of the Mid-West Van units.

Looks to me like all they did was buy the "Chinook" name. That brand used to be built up here by me, in Yakima, Washington. Now they're coming out of Vegas.
Nothing very innovative on their model pictures, but I do like how they centralized all the sysyem monitors and gauges into one spot.

the hallmark of chinook was a solid fiberglass molded cabin---essentially a boat upside down.
chinook made some great RV's up until about 2004 and in it's 30 year run did some neat toyotas and the Blazer "Chalet" for GM.
so someone bought the brand....
maybe they'll prove themselves worthy of a legacy name

As I was looking at the pictures on the website I was reminded of the Midwest van I'd seen at the Chicago RV show. It hadn't occurred to me, as it did to Wincrasher, that maybe Midwest was making the Chinook van, but it wouldn't surprise me.

It was a sad day when the original Chinook went out of business. Our Chinook Concourse has been the best of our seven motorhomes since 1975. We're looking to replace our 2003 Concourse, but have found nothing comparable.

Very well detailed
I have a 2015 Midwest and the attention to detail is apparent. As I said, I stopped by the dealer for Midwest in Kalispel Mt and they had a Chinook. They are identical. They had 11 different new B models and he loved the Midwest/Chinook for there care and method of figuring thing out and using top notch suppliers.

Fonishes
They have a top notch series of craftsman, making great cabinetry, upholstery etc. and great technology. Fit and finish looks good to me.
Certainly not inexpensive but you can feel the quality.

Floor plan
Just went on Chinook website and the floor plan is totally different from mine and from the Chinook I saw in Kalispel. But definitely made by Midwest it appears to me.
