Default Chevy "Escaper" van mod

my 1988 rig came with no literature whatever, so am on the lookout for appliance manuals, particularly for the furnace (brand unknown, only markings are generic labels and schematics), Norcold fridge(LPG and 110), HWT and propane system. My furnace responds to the thermostat but blows cold, never igniting. I found no sign of a pilot light so assume it's 12v spark-lit. I opened all LPG valves I could find, tho there's none at the furnace site. The van is the ChevyVan30 one-ton, duallies, 350 V8, AT, Cruise, AC(not working), PS, PB. I particularly need the poop on lifting the doghouse to get at the air cleaner. I replaced the alternator thru the front merely by pulling off the WWasher reservoir, and starter motor from beneath, but inevitably I'll need more access from above and don't want to damage anything searching for hidden fasteners. I got the Haynes manual for full-size Chevy vans in my year, but it's spectacularly unhelpful for any but the most general operations which most of us gearheads can do without specs.

I moved this to General so more people will see it.

Does anything else work on propane? (stove, fridge)

Here's a link to a general manual for Suburban furnaces:

There are parts manuals for Norcold refrigerators here:

I have a 1999 Chevy van for work. To get the doghouse off look all around the edges and you will see a place where it is getting held in place. There should be something on each side as well as 2 or 3 along the bottom. I've had 5 vans in my time from all three companies so some times I may get them confused but they are all about the same. As for the inside appliances I am not very familier with them. Try listing exactly what you have and problem and someone may know something. Maybe it's the same as I have.
