Based on a visual inspection of my Carefree-equipt Transit-based Coachmen Crossfit/Beyond, I think that it should be an easy two-person job. The awning bolts to an aluminum extrusion that runs the length of the roof. That extrusion is bolted to the roof using custom brackets that are bolted into factory provided threaded holes.

Carefree has installation instructions available on their web site. The bracket kit that mine uses is #BS0015. The installation instructions for that kit show all the pieces and parts.

Thanks, exactly what I needed. I had 2 Travatos with the same awning, I had no issues, but others did. I just really don’t like the looks of it on the Transit.
