Bumper parts for a Roadtrek??? Where can one find replacements?
Hi Community! I'mlooking for a front and rear bumper / ground effects for a 2002 Roadtrek 190 popular. Apparently Roadtrek does not stock anything older than 2004. Does anyone know where to source ground effects and replacement bumper cover parts for these older models? Thanks, Chris

Did you get this info directly from Roadtrek or from another source?

Too bad, They claim they can provide parts that they made for older vans than that but maybe the bumper covers were sourced from outside...

.
Do you still have the old broken pieces?
They can be patched up to new condition.

Most ground effects are fibreglass, which is quite easy to fix either by yourself or a bodyshop.

Not sure what "ground effects " you need. And you didn't specify Chev, Dodge or? But we had to have our front bumper, grill, left fender- Chevy r&r'd this summer. All parts were readily available. Some from GM, /&or after mkt (China, Korea). If it's an insurance job, insist on O.E.M! Imports look ok, but some fitment problems. Best to work w/ reputable repair shop or experienced individual.

Ours is a 2013 chev 190 R/T on G3500 chasis. We had a semi-serious fender bender traveling in Oregon in July. It was the other guys fault!! His insurance paid! We had it repaired at a body shop in Prescott. I requested OEM parts, although some of them even came from Taiwan/Korea. Total was nearly $9k. & 5wks. But now looks good.

The issue was how to get a 2002 repaired. No answer yet other than try and rebuild the pieces.

RT said they do not have anything older than 2004.
What do you propose?

That is the point of the thread. I have no idea where to get ground effects parts for a 2002. Maybe someone else does.
I did get a new passenger side rear window for $427, or thereabouts, from Roadtrek. It is not made by R.L. Lawrence. The spec is the size of the window cutout. I haven't removed the old one yet so I don't know if I have a fit or not but it appears so. If anyone wants more info, start a new thread.

Without information as to what happened, what is damaged, etc we don't know if they need everything or just some of the parts. Add to that the fact that "ground effects" can mean various things, often being the side pods. Roadtrek refers to the front and rear now as "bumper covers" as far as I know.
When the van was made there were probably several manufactures of front and rear covers and air dams for the front, and maybe the rear, I would start with any/all conversion van shops and suppliers, but be prepared to buy the entire setup if they can find the parts, not stuff to fix part of what you have.
Depending on what is up with the damage, it may be better just to go to the scrap yard and get a stock front or rear bumper and associated parts, and add a generic chin spoiler if you want. Many folks think the vans look better that way, anyway.

Per Booster's advice Google 1982 Chevrolet Express Bumper Cover and you will get results.
