My 200 lbs already tested the PM roof, and it seems strong enough if you stay on the sides

I was looking at putting suck rack on my promaster.
Can you easily 2 bikes on it with clearance with the rear door? It seem tight if the bikes are mountain bikes.



Also, can there be contact with the side of the van if opened too much with or without the bikes or they modded the hindge to stop before?

I have not timed it with a stopwatch.

Most RV hot water heaters take 15 to 20 mins to get fully hot from a cold start. This one is no better or worse than any others on 110v.

The couple full timing in their Travato posted that they would run the generator for 10 mins and get the water medium hot, and then shower with the spigot on full hot instead of trying to mix hot and cold.

If you want instant hot water, then you probably need to look at the Pleasureway Lexor which has a tankless water heater setup.

I believe Winnebago limits the door swing with a steel cable stop to keep it from swinging all the way around to the van side with this bike rack. The Fit RV video showed that. It only makes sense to do that. If you were facing downhill opening a door with that weight could easily get away from you and slam the side otherwise.

The typical 6 gallon Suburban propane water heater in a lot of Bs produced hot water in 15 to 20 minutes for us.

The Espar setup in Advanced RVs and Great West Vans utilize a diesel fired glycol heat exchanger for both heat and hot water and is practically instantaneous and continuous, meaning limited to your fresh water tank size or unlimited if hooked up to city water.

What made you choose between the 59K and 59G. The fridge is smaller although not sure how much smaller. I'm liking the 59K better becaus eof the new features such as solar panels, water heater etc. I also thought the 59K look roomier. I would buy the gas version only.
