I guess this saga is far from over and expect the Hymer family will not stay silent for long.

All i can say is this. Your boss demanding increased performance does not give you the right to falsify stuff. In the business world bosses demand performance all the time. You either handle the pressure or quit.

IMO the accounting irregularities are the issue... if those allegations are proven true then what Jim is saying doesn't make a lot of sense (e.g. fake sales with fake vin #'s). However, if those allegations are not true and the accounting was correct then what he is saying could make sense. He is an employee of a larger company that is selling and they decided they want to close operations if not sold. The operations could indeed be underperforming and they don't want to stick around to try and fix it. Thor decided not to buy it so they are wrapping it up by using a holding company to liquidate the company.

Thanks - got it this time. CTV did a decent job in that clip. Certainly the Hymer family are the ones who put the EGHNA into receivership. We just don't know any details on the reported financial mess.

There's a CW pretty close to me (Central TX) that had a Sunshine Van Two down to $64999.

The roadtrek and Hymer NA websites are now back online. Not sure what this means, but it is something new.

The contact info section lists the address and phone number for the receiver. Maybe it’s just a way to establish communication with former employees.

A significant number of employees have joined our FB pages. I just received a PM from one who claims that a number of them have been providing evidence of illegal activities by the three executives and some dealers... to the court, local government, and RCMP. Hopefully the evidence will make clear whether it was done to personally steal from the company or merely to fake the financial conditions. Was it just the executives or were they ordered to do so by Hymer?
Either way it doesn't negate the fact that Hymer's reckless expansion was what buried the company in massive debt.
This person did say that everyone found the expansion into jeeps particularly crazy, super expensive; and that it came from the executives.

LOL. All corporations have a thirst for profits and growth. They made demands and push on you. It comes with the territory if you play with the big boys.
What I've learned over the years is they ask and push until you push back. Their aim is to get the most out of you and reach your limits. Question is, are you a performer or not?
I'm sure JH has never been pushed before since he's always worked for mom & pops and not a large corporate entity. The Germans are also not known for their soft manners and letting things slide, I know from personal experience! He obviously couldn't take it, which I totally see. Instead of creating a fraud, he should have quit!
He has nobody to blame but himself and his cohorts. If he was smart he'd keep his yap shut, as he's only digging his hole deeper.

Does anyone know what has become of American Fastbacks? I believe that they sold to EHGNA just months prior to its collapse. I wonder if their deal was finalized before this all went down. That’s extra rough for those employees in my opinion.
