Default Air suspension seat swivel

Air suspension seat swivel:
My 2015 sprinter came with air suspension seats. I love them! All forum posts report there was no way to attach a swivel to an air suspension seat.
I beg to differ. I removed approximately 3 inches out of the center of the base, then reattached the top and bottom by welding together with a 1/8 inch plate. The base is now much stronger then from the factory. I purchased good quality German swivel. I added 1 inch spacers, So the swivel lever could engage properly.

The two pictures posted are sufficient for the welder. I’m not with the van for a few weeks.
