Champagne was a definite part of the ceremony when we picked up Imagine. However, we did not share any with the ground or Imagine's bumpers.

Re: Advancing Alvar
Monday, January 26 is the official day. We will be at ARV bright eyed and bushy tailed. Everything is taken care of. I'll pick up my Minnesota license plates next week and take them with us. We are going to rent a one way car and load it up with stuff for our B so we can spend our nights in it and not have to rush home. We will spend a couple of days testing and orienting at ARV.
ARV first phase of their move will be around the middle of February I was told, so I assume things will be as usual when we are there.

Woo hoo! Can't wait to see your pics and read about your first days out. I'm very interested in how your solar works out also. What flexible? solar brand they used, etc., trying to get solar put on ours.

I'll give you a hint about the bed. Where one might need quarters we won't have to.

Solar is custom designed for ARV. They are flexible solar panels from Europe and I just described them a little bit from what I know in the Flexible Solar Panel thread.

Re: Advancing Alvar
Also will love to hear about how you make out with it in the colder weather if you're picking it up in 2 weeks. Maybe some day in my dreams we'll be able to afford an Advanced with all the things I would want.

Re: Advancing Alvar
The time is getting close to pick up Alvar. I don't know if I would be getting much sleep. How much time will be spending at advanced rv being orientated before you leave for home. Hope the weather cooperates!

Re: Advancing Alvar
We are at Advanced RV to pick up Alvar. We will be quite busy today but here are some photos. Note we have electrically articulated twin beds in our B. We can control the bed through our iPhone to raise the back, raise the foot and adjust the head. We can also program pre-settings such as Bed, TV Watching, Zero Gravity Lounger, etc. The center portion at the shoulders gives us a full king at that point and possibly our cat Callie may make her home there. The opening at the floor will be her passage to her own domain under the bed should she choose. Cats can be finicky.

Re: Advancing Alvar
Darth Alvar." I am your motorhome David " .Wow! love your beds. I thought you said 2 weeks. Time flies. I hope you're out of the path of the blizzard but it would be a great test. I don't mean driving but I assume you're going to camp near the company to check it out before travelling.

Re: Advancing Alvar
Hopefully soon we will have some video of the bed operation. ARV took some and surely will have a YouTube and news release on it. Did I mention the bed had a vibration feature built in?

Jolly nice, Davydd! I like the lift off panels over the storage at the back.
