Default Add-a-room for 1999 Leisure Travel

Hi,

Could anyone tell me how to go about finding a supplier for an add-a-room for a freedom II awning. I believe it is 11'. I have called an RV dealer and they checked 3 suppliers who told them this particular awning was discontinued this summer. Any help would be appreciated.

If your awning brand is Fiamma I suggest you contact Bob Snyder via email. His address is:

fiamma1 (at) fiamma (dot) com

replace the (at) with @ and the (dot) with

He'll be able to tell you if the privacy room is available for your awning. Find out which model awning you have first.

I copied this from Fiamma's website:

Where to buy FIAMMA products:
We supply any RV dealership. You may choose any RV dealer close to you. If they are not familiar with FIAMMA products, you may have them contact us and we will supply them with the required information in order to place an order with FIAMMA Inc. If you are in the Orlando area we have a Preferred FIAMMA Dealer, Leisure Time RV in Winter Garden that installs and repairs our awnings for us; call Mrs. Maureen Prentiss, Parts Managers at:

Leisure Time RV - 14100 West Colonial Drive (S.R.50)
Winter Garden FL 34787 -(800) 336-6565

The large gray package in the following photo is a Fiamma privacy room stowed in the rear of kipper10000's 2004 Roadtrek 190P. It takes up a fair bit of room.

I'm sorry - I misunderstood your post. I read the words Leisure Travel & Freedom II and thought that was the brand and model of your RV.

Now I understand.

You have the Lb. Freedom II awning made by Carefree.

I see the California Room addition here:

Have you contacted Carefree?

Here's a copy & paste of some info:

Quote:
When ordering specify year and model of Lb. FREEDOM awning. See your Carefree dealer for special order form.
Quote:
Important Ordering Information: Actual Standard & LTD ADD-A-ROOMs always measure 1'-6" shorter than stated size. Stated room sizes correspond to awning sizes. To purchase a full size room for an 18' awning, order an 18' ADD-A-ROOM, which will measure 1'-6" shorter, or 16'-6". This allows the awning canopy to overhang the ADD-A-ROOM at each end. You can also select a room that is any size shorter than the full length of your awning, for example a 14' room for a 20' awning (actual room would be 12'-6" long).
Here's a 9' Add A Room for a LB Freedom II awning on eBay

I would think that the concept of the "Add-a-Room" would be neat it has the drawback of what happens when you want to run somewhere. With that in mind, I picked up a 12x12 Screened-Room and we use it - keeps everything out of the rain and we are off and running. Ron J.
