Default 98 dodge pleasureway missing battery

Hi I just bought a 98 dodge just sureway B camper. I just realized that its battery located in passenger side at the rear is missing. Nothing in the camper is functioning. Just wondering, does it take regular 12v battery or it takes special battery? Also anybody know where I can download the user manual if ones avaliable? thanks.

Any 12 volt battery would do, but you should use a battery designed to be drained and charged a lot.

At the lower cost end is a deep cycle battery which is where you'll probably want to start.

Roadtrek makes alot of their literature available on their website- they are in Kitchener.

I use a deep cycle "marine/rv" battery in my rv- costco had the best price/warranty if you use costco

When our house battery stopped holding a charge, we also got the biggest deep cycle battery from Costco, great price and warranty, its been working great for almost 2 years with no problems,,,,,

This is about a Pleasure-Way van, based out of Saskatoon.

Email Pleasure-Way, they have most older manuals scanned and can email it to you. It would be nice if you also posted on the forums here for others to enjoy.

I have a 95 Dodge PW. I chose a deep cycle AGM perhaps 5 years ago and been pleased with it. FYI, if your battery box is the same size as mine, you'll need a Group 24 or 27 size (It's one of the two and I forget which). You'll need to measure the length and width of your battery box. Got for the 27 if it will fit. Also, check the terminals on your cables to make sure you buy a battery with compatible posts.
