Default Not too hard to do...

Hi there. We have a 92 RT and I replaced all our curtains. They are not available for purchase anywhere. Some people have used an iron-on interface and have simply put new material over the top of the old ones. If you have any sewing skill (honestly isn't that hard, the measuring skill is more critical!), it's not a hard job. Recmar.com sells a flexible "tape" with the clips already attached. Must easier to sew than using that plastic stuff one the originals. If you need more help, I'm happy to give guidance. I did post what I did on either GOOD OLD ROADTREK or 74-03 Roadtrek Owners - Vintage and Classic years. Both Facebook groups. There are plenty of other suggestions/instruction there too. Enjoy your RT and good luck!!

Hello,
What type of fabric did you use for the curtains ? The RT fabric holds up very well, but mine look tired after 20 years.
I was thinking of using Barkcloth and a UV protected fabric for the outside. I sew, so this should be a fun project. Duck cloth? Or a medium weight quilt fabric?
I'm going to place reflective panels in the shuttle windows to decrease heat load.

We use Sunbrella fabric with white polyester fabric backing, no signs of wear since 2013. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Ct34A5RtpDo9iLNA6

I actually bought black out drapes from Kohls and used that as the fabric. I was looking for a lighter grey for the cab curtains and a darker grey for the house/bedroom. Couldn't find any material that matched nicely, so I figured drapes would work and already be lined. It worked well. They are starting to show a bit of "pulling" in places. Go with a sturdy material, not something that has a weave-look to it. OH, if you are replacing with a heavier fabric, make your tie backs longer! They will have more material to go around before they snap on the wall. (Ask me how I know! haha!) Best of luck!
