The Sprinter gas engine is still available for 2023, but only on lighter models. If you want a gas engine van with some capacity best get a Ford Transit.

ARV put a 4 cylinder gas engine in one of their lightweight 2500 short vans that was designed mainly for transporting bicycles and was not a full RV build. There is a past video on it. They talked me out of ordering a gas engine in my 2500 short van build because in their opinion It would not be adequate with my maximum weight van. They had the experience to judge. I didn't.
