Like the Sprinter there is no Gas option. It has a 2 litre diesel that is a new design
Quote:
all-new VW Crafter, built in-house by Volkswagen in a brand new factory in Poland (rather than by Mercedes-Benz in the same factory as the Sprinter). It features equally new 2.0-litre TDI turbodiesel engines that promise 15 percent better fuel economy than rival large vans like the Ford Transit and Vauxhall Movano, it comes in three body lengths and three roof heights, and is available with a large amount of safety equipment, including no fewer than 15 driver assistance systems.

VW does plan to bring an electric microbus to market in 2022--the I.D. Buzz. Hope they actually do it.

I am seeing similarity between this VW Bus entry to US and this interstellar object, neither one will land in the USA.

LOL. Well, that makes my day, GeorgeRa. Still, hope VW does bring it, though I'm not counting on 2022.

For my Sister who has a current Transporter Motorhome is just that. Very easy to drive with a pleasant ride and handling .the 2 litre Diesel has plenty of power to overtake on a 7% gradient hiill at 70mph+. Fuel Economy is exceptional . Diesel in the Transporter is nore a car like diesel than you get in the Sprinter
