144k miles right now. Will do it at 200k miles if it makes it.

When the time is right, invested in a JASPER TRANSMISSION.
Since before 1942 I think, 100,000 mile or 3 years or more.
BULLETPROOF.
Plus they make an entire of Engines, etc.

I have trouble posting pics
Here's a link to my "before" pics.
the areas to be repaired- top of both sides. right now the separation is less than an inch, hoping to stop it.
hood- got whacked with a lemon which fell off a truck.
dimpled the hood and at the area of the stretched metal the color coat pulled away from the primer...then kept on going
rear door rt side, when it's wet the paint bubbles out from the door from the window down

there are a couple of other small areas which they will feather out and touch up

This won't help you with a place. Just a $$$$ gauge.
But, I just got my top / windshield to back bumper including C/tire cover, backdoors etc. done for3k.
they painted down to the awning, pass side, and top pin striping , DS. Fiberglass parts still look good.
Jobs done I'm Happy

Picked up van today- looks good
$3501 for the tops of both sides right rear door and hood.
the new hood to old fender paint is a great blend as is the tops of the sides to the sides. the new paint door and the old paint door are slightly off- no problem.
I can see they touched up a number of small areas for me and removed the dent in the hood from the worlds largest lemon at 70 mph.

Into the shop today. I’ll be surprised if I see it back in two months.

Mine is coming back tomorrow after 3 weeks. I can't wait! I'll post pictures of the outcome.

Dropped by the paint shop today. I was stunned by the thoroughness of the work. All GM windows were removed (two rear door and one right side), the door interiors were dismantled. The cracked and failing rear plastic bumper was repaired to look as new. All badging, door handles, and trim was removed to paint. CR Lawrence windows were masked off. Pictures when I get it back in a few days. Cost was over $7k. Will let you know when I pay it.
The complete front end was removed back to the radiator. Didn’t expect that either.
I just didn’t expect them to take so much apart but it explains the high cost. The body shop was MAACO on east Main in Mesa, Arizona.

FWIW - That looks remarkably like mine. Hood doors and top. Will be looking to repaint - however in the interim I used some white vinyl wrap to cover the exposed primer until that day arrives. Does not look the greatest, but better than it did and it keeps the water out.

Will try a few pictures. A few minor discrepancies. Screws missing from the A/C cover, lower awning leg attachment missing but all in all I’m pretty happy. Whoever ran the paint gun knows his business.
