It sounds like it's time to move. Twenty-seven years ago, I made the mistake of buying a house in an area with CC&Rs once... the CC&Rs weren't unreasonable, but the people on the board certainly were. Never again...

I bought into an HOA for the first time for location, location, location. My backyard is a regional bike trail and 3,700 acre park reserve with 10 lakes, 28 miles of hiking, biking, skiing and snowshoe trails, and a campground for RV visitors. My solution was to bite the bullet and buy a separate heated condo garage. It is in my Advancing Alvar thread.

Back on topic. The most recent Advanced RV to go out the door I saw yesterday has a bathroom with a Dutch door so the shower curtain can expand out at your elbow height but still keep shower water inside the bathroom. It was a custom design request by a customer. It's use would be optional I think.
