Our 12V system draws 45 amps and provides 8000 BTU/hr of cooling and heating. Based on a duty cycle rate of 50-60%, this unit consumes only 350 watts/hr on average. (cooling)

That is still 300 AH in a 10 hr cooling day, and only get 4000 btu/hr of cooling. Sounds similar efficiency to the Roadtrek AC, just smaller. I don't think 4000 would do us a lot of good in hot weather, ours is 12,500 and sometimes struggles.

It looks to be approximately the same amp hr usage as my 5,000 BTU 110 volt air conditioner running through an inverter.
