Probably not though I noticed that the listed prices for these European vans usually include VAT. A friend who worked at the US embassy in West Germany years ago told me that in those days Americans would make a trip to Europe, buy a vehicle, stay two weeks or so and then bring the vehicle as a used car. I'm sure things have changed a lot since then- especially concerning CA emission regulations and the like. Wife set her heart on the Thor Tellaro 20AT. There seem to be a lot of little issues. I talked her out of it. I am waiting for an 18 footer like the Axess 540 SP myself.

Great list for drooling. As far as I know prices include about 20% VAT. We are not exposed to these low prices unfortunately in North America, but if you add black tank - $25K, Lithium batteries - $25K, handmade hardwood cabinetry art - $25K and shipping - $25K our prices would be a little higher.

Indeed, I missed it, AC would be another $25K. Unfortunately, Truma Saphir wouldn’t be any good in NA.

Cheers.

Where’s the innovation. Mostly standard European floorplan.

I see a lot of innovative designs and manufacturing methodologies leading to good fit and finish at lower prices and shorter delivery times. Innovation is an improvement in design, materials or manufacturing leading to better value for customer but it is not invention like for example i-phone.

Thank you for posting the video, what I saw was cool campers out of Europe and still in the dark ages for North America. Also as earlier stated, non VAT prices are great for European models.
