Default 02 Roadtrek 200P How to remove Dometic RM 2453

Greetings,

As the title says. How do I remove this refer to do some maintenance? The stuff in the back under the access panel is easy. 110 vac, 12vdc, gas... It's the front of it and whatever else is holding it in. My other RT had 6 screws around the front bezel. Easy PZ. From the back, this one appears to be sealed in with a couple of screws on the bottom, and a pant load of black sealer (looks like silicone) along the entire rear perimeter.

Any help or suggestions (other than "call Roadtrek" or "take it to a dealer") welcomed.

Thanks.

Check out "Refrigerator Remove" by Grampy just recently...sounds like you might have a similar situation - they put a ton of sealer in the bottom front.

Default remove refrigerator

Just went through the same thing. On inside of camper remover top cover trim of your refrigerator you will find two screws on either side take them out, on outside of unit you are correct power ac/dc, gas line, and two screws on mounting L brackets. Then just wiggle out will take some force to break seal.
Good luck. Hope all goes well sending pics of inside screw location. My new thermostat not working correctly looks like will have to redo as it turns on but never shuts off now makes it into a freezer. Better than not working at all which was the original problem.
