Default Power sofa problems

Just purchased 2006 Roadtrek RS Adventurous. The power sofa works but does not go completely flat. Is there an adjustment for this?

Welcome to the forum onthodont1!

Probably. Does it hit anything? Does it close the gap between the seat and the ottoman cushions? Does it go fully upright when used as a seat?

The sofa goes down and closes any gaps. It firmly contacts the ottoman in the down position and fully goes upright. It seems a comfortable position, only slightly up a bit, but not completely flat.

I had erroneously suspected a malfunction. But likely this is just an attribute of many class b's where the rear lounge goes nearly flat, but not perfectly flat. It may take a memory foam pad for comfort, but ours (not a Roadtrek) is comfortable with just a sleeping bag beneath us, even though to the eye it doesn't appear perfectly level. I guess it's just not enough to bother us.

I was thinking the same, but how about a picture for comparison?

Figured it out! The seatbelt return housing was interfering on one side. Loosened the housing and repositioned it...voila ! Now it goes flat. The clearance for the seatbelt housing left and right at the corners is very close, but all is good.
