Default Newbie looking for a touring coach

Hi,

We are a senior couple looking for a coach for touring/tailgating. We want 4 captains chairs for 2 couples. Essentials must include a Toilet (cassette preferred), a small galley for coffee, making lunch, reheating leftovers in a microwave, fridge.

We do not need sleeping for 4 although a sofa bed in the back might be useful for additional seating. We do not intend on camping, just comfortable travel.

We previously had a high top conversion van, but we need a bathroom for health reasons. I have looked at the touring coaches based on the 24 foot Sprinter chassis, but those are too long and we do not want diesel. We would prefer 20 foot or shorter.

Jayco/Entegra has announced a RAM based class B (20A floorplan) but they have yet to build even a prototype. Is there a vendor that I have not found that makes such a coach? Can you point me in their direction?

Thanks for your help

I suggest that you contact Terry Minix at Embassy RV.

The Traveler floorplan could work for you, and Terry will consider controlled custom to meet your needs.

Perhaps a Winnebago Travato G (59G) would suit your needs. You likely would not need the Lithium-battery GL model, although the floor plan is the same. The G has the seating, galley, bathroom as you have described. It's pretty comfortable, based on the RAM, uses regular gasoline and gets pretty good mileage for an RV, around 16 mpg for me.

Default Used Roadtrek 190 Versatile should work.

The Roadtrek Versatile is no longer in production; but it is an incredibly robust design and very durable. Lots of used vehicles are available throughout the US and Canada. If you are planning on sleeping in the RV, recommend front to back floorplans, rather than side to side.

Regards,
