Default Newbie

Hello everyone, just bought a 1995 Dodge Horizon 190.
It's a Dodge extended 1 ton.
It was neglected but the bones are good.
Drove it home {should have towed it} but got home safe and been poking around on it.
Wish I had taken pics before but I haven't done that much.
New calipers, rotors, brakes, rubber lines and bearings in the front.
Looks like all the rear needs is a inner seal replaced.
I needed to get brakes on it so I can get it inside to work on the rest.
The whole front brake system seized up driving home a couple of times.
I think thats why the guy sold it.
It drives really nice, not comfortable, but handles well.
Good power , it has the 360 engine,
The interior stinks, I thought it was the toilet system but I cleaned that spotless and blocked it off and it got rid of some smell, but not the chemical /cat pee smell. {wonder if thats the fridge?} or the roof air?
I love this van and hope to be able to travel around this summer , I had a Toyota MH I bought and fixed up, but then got too sick to use it, and sold it.
I liked it , but it was like driving an outhouse around behind you, everything rattled and banged like the Beverly Hillbillys.
Hopefully, me and the van will make up for lost memories.
I'll get some pics and keep updating as possible, maybe I can help someone and you guys can help me .

Welcome aboard and Congrats on your new home!
You mentioned the smell and from what you said about it being neglected, I immediately thought of the dump tanks....some people tend to put it off and then!!!!!
Happy New Year, Ron
