Default New and Tire Help

Hello my name is Asryk and me and my Partner(Lily) Recently purchased a Dodge 1980 Xplorer 228 and plan to fix it up for future adventures, i do have an issue if anyone knows, the manual recommends 8.00 - 16.5 , The tires that are on it are LT 245/75 R16 Ive tried to get up with walmart to replace them becuase the tires seem dry rotted, They don't have any tires they cna install becuase the computer recommends 16.5 and the tire on it are 16" so is this common or someone replace the rims with 16" any help would be nice.Thank you and Take Care

Thank you so much that means that was done before me, Hopefully this Discount Tire will install them for me. Since apparently walmart refuses.

Yeah there is no way you could get 16" tires on 16.5" rims

Hello again, So we got oil changed and new Tires, and started to get ready to head out and... the headlights stoped working as did the turn signals the other lights work, Anyhelp is there any solinoid or relay switches i can't find? All the fuses in the gloveboxes are good and even replaced the flasher fuses.
