New 1995 Rialta
I've been lurking for at least 6 months and finally a great opportunity came up. I was wanting a 1998 or newer, but found a terrific 1995 with 55k miles and a new motor in it since 41k miles. Interior and exterior are terrific and other than the look of the eurovan cab you would never know it was a '95. I like that there was no 9" TV, VCR or any other antiquated equipment in it. Simple, elegant.
From my research it looks like the camper sat for about 10 years from 2001 to 2011. I think somone may have used it as a clubhouse as the dinette bench seats seem very fatigued. you can feel the metal springs in them when you sit on it and I am only 150lbs. Are there any options for getting these comfy again? Both the foam and the springs seem shot, though the upolstry is quite nice for 19 years old.
My 4 year old and I slept in the driveway the first night and we are taking it out this weekend to christen it as our adventure wagon this weekend. All systems that I can test (should have a shorline power adaptor tomorrow to test the AC , fridge and microwave) work perfectly.
I look forward to contributing to this forum.
Thanks!
