We are avid campers and making the transition from tent to rv. At first ,we were leaning towards tear drop ultra light campers but the tow weight is too close for comfort.

So we have decided upon a class b/plus. " Must Haves" are Mercedes chassis, queen bed and only driver seat "chairs" (no second row of chairs.)

Leaning toward the Thor Citatation 24sr but it has been hard to get unbiased reviews and the closest dealer is 4 hours away. Found a 2016 new for 87k.

We are open to suggestions and looking at 85k and under with under 15k miles. Whatever that can get us. Just traveling with the two of us,dog and cat for long weekends until we retire in 10 years.

So, we have decided on the coachman prism 24g 2015 used with 6k miles. It is everything we wanted, Mercedes chassis, queen walk around bed, dry bath, good storage, outside kitchen, and sofa recliner.

I pulled a checklist for doing a rv inspection on a used rv. Any other helpful hints? We are going to get an extended warranty. Since we are purchasing from camping world about 45 min away. They also offer a free one year roadside service repair or tow service.

Thanks in advance for any help. We will go this Saturday to finalize the deal.
