Understand, but for me the window is about having continuous (or trying to at least) visibility along the passenger side when driving. At camp, it is about light. If the sliding door has a window and the galley has a window, when the sliding door is open, there is still light coming in - it's about the light, not the view.
I think FitRV may have added the window on the 59G to also have more light in - there are not a lot of windows on the 59G, and others have commented on it being a "bit dark" in there, IIRC.
