Central Iowa Rialta owner...New

Hi... after researching Rialta for about 3 years I purchased one in Florida a few weeks ago...First part of October. Drove it back to Central Iowa, about 1700 miles total from Punta Gorda, to Sebring and back to Iowa. Made the trip in 48 hours flat..Average gas mileage was over 18 mpg..on the conservative side. Maybe more.


It did need some very minor TLC updates and those are in progress. It's almost time to complete the winterizing process.


I need some advice on filter replacement, but will post to the maintanence threads.


How many Iowa Rialta owners are there here?

We bought a '99 Rialta Classic after 2 years of searching. Bought ours in western Iowa. Have put about 20,000 miles on it.

I have a 2000 QD and so far it seems nice. We have it in the shop now as acceleration drops off around 2500 RPM? This is being fixed although they also say we need a trans rebuild? Has anyone had this done before?
