2003QD: considering outdoor coverage - suggestions sought

Hello, just bought subject vehicle so the wife and I can get away once in a while (have been camping/RV'ing for 35+ years - have an old Class C we use as a cabin (she is great but just too old to trust on the road)).


Unfortunately we can't house the QD given our resources. Want to cover it but don't want to make it worse with moisture trapping or chaffing - or have an un-godly, tarp monstrousity outside. (have done that on other vehicles - even with the higher-end multi-layered fabrics). Any experiences, suggestions, manufacturers, etc?


Also, really would like to add a semi-shielded awning this year > someone recommended a Colorado wall-mounted Carefree model - any 'oops' with that? We thank you for letting us joing and will endeavor to add to the experience.
