Just joined!

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking and reading for a few months and decided to join. My name is Brian Renneberg and my wife is Denise from Sherwood Park, Alberta. We are nearing retirement age and have had our 1995 Pleasureway MPL for 3 years. Both of our parents had B's and we decided that when the kids were gone and we no longer needed something big, we would get a Class B. My Dad's was a Leisure Travel and my father-in-laws was a Pleasureway. We liked them both, but fell in love with this one. Although we bought it used, it has given us close to 30,000 kms of trouble-free travel. We've gone to the west coast twice and have travelled all over Alberta and Saskatchewan as well. I tow a boat behind most of the time, as I like to fish when we are camped. It's a great life, and when we are retired, I'm looking forward to a lot of trips and hope to meet other travellers with like interests......Brian

Hello Brian.,
Nice to see some new folks on this Forum, we are relative newcomers here as well. We are starting our adventure with class B as of tomorrow. We have purchased a new to us low mileage 2007 Roadtrek 210 versatile.,and are hoping to get away to Fla in Feb. It will be a whole different story as we always had larger rv,s .felt like as seniors we wanted to try something more compact and now we have it. I am sure you will find the people on here very helpfull and welcoming .

Looking at his address, WAPITI is virtually my neighbour. Guess I could nip over and bang on his door, see what they are up to.
Glad that an old post stirred up some activity on this site though.
