Microsoft Money - Sunset versions

Free versions of Microsoft Money Plus 2008 are available for download from Microsoft. They were released in 2010.

All online services have been removed.
Do not install over the original 2008 version if you are still using the online services.
There is no support for these versions but the price is right. The program converted my Quicken 2002 data easily. Time flies

Ah, I still use Money 2006. Have no idea what Sunset is.
Use Simply Premium 2011 for by consulting work.

Sunset = Retired (sort of)

No support, no patches or fixes etc.

All of their software eventually goes sunset but usually they don't make it available for download. Basically they wanted to quit developing Money but recent versions had to be "activated". They shut down the activation system for Money. So, if you purchased Money 2008 and activated it on one PC say in 2008 then you bought a new PC in 2011 you could not use Money 2008 on the new PC because you could no longer activate it.
