Re: Apps
I have an iPhone4 so all these apps are for iOS...
I have the "multi-level" app - not sure if it was free or not, but it makes a noise when you get it level. I haven't used this for RVing yet, but I could see it coming in very handy if you are trying the "drive around the campsite to find the levelest spot" technique - you can lay it on the counter or the floor in the back and it will tell you when it's level.
I use the "Gas Cubby" app - I have the free version, there is also an ad-free paid version. It will keep track of gas purchases as well as repairs for multiple vehicles and will calculate MPG which is very handy.
MyPilot - finds your local Pilot/Flying J travel center and gives you real time fuel prices.
RoadAhead - it's the "Next Exit" book in App Format.
The app from Recreation.gov - is great too - you can see and make a reservation at any National Park, National Forest, and even some private campgrounds.
RVparking.com - type in a city or zip and it gives you all campgrounds nearby.
Oh, Ranger! - locates all nearby parks
AllTrails - locates hiking opportunities.

Re: Apps
Do an app search on Allstays and you will find all kinds of useful apps for RVing. Allstays Camp & RV is the campground finder. There are also apps for finding Walmarts, Targets, Coffee, RV Dumps, etc.
My favorite campground app is Campwhere. It only shows you public campgrounds be they national, state, county or municipal.

Re: Apps
I have the Bubble app on my Android phone. Works nice when trying to level the RV.
I also have CoPilot Premium GPS app installed. It's a fully functional GPS with turn-by-turn navigation and the maps are held on the memory card so no data required like Google Maps.
One app I could not do without is the Tim Hortons app. Need to know where to get a coffee and what the balance is on my Tims card.
I like Google Sky to look up at the stars at night. It names all the constellations and shows where the planets are.
The Weather Network and Accu Weather apps are nice to have a quick check of the weather.
GasBuddy is another good app to check gas prices close to your location.
I have a few games on my phone that helps pass a little time.
I really like the Aldiko Book Reader for reading ebooks.

Re: Apps
I'll try some of the apps mentioned above out.
I did add the Woodalls app http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/woodalls ... 68562?mt=8
Seems pretty good - easy to find campgrounds.
I also loaded the Fundy Park app that has useful info. I plan to visit Fundy National Park soon.
Quote:
Provides a list of trails for Fundy National Park in New Brunswick,Canada. Included are trail descriptions and features. Map of where trails are is also included. Tide and weather for the next 4 days in Fundy National Park are provided so that you do not travel there only to be caught in a downpour.

Re: Apps
You've got a ways to go yet. I have downloaded 389 apps to my iPhone. I don't keep them all active.

Re: Apps
If you are looking to fill up your B and your iPod Touch, check out Fuelbook, another gas finding app.

Re: Apps
A few more.........
Zap2it is a TV guide.
National Geographic - National Parks lets you have one park guide for free then you purchase other guides if you want.
Parks Canada has historical recipes. Learn how to make beer from Spruce shoots
For Canadians: CBC and Globe News (Globe and Mail) are handy to keep up with Canadian news.

Thank you. I added that one too. The price of diesel sure varies. Looks like the price shown is per US gallon even for the Canadian stations. That makes it easy to compare. Today, it shows diesel is 70 cents per gallon cheaper in Houlton, Maine than it is 15 miles away in Woodstock, New Brunswick.

Re: Apps
Test
-----------------------------------
Edit:
I posted the word test from my iPod using TouchBB. I used the lite version.
Not sure if I'll keep it on the forum. I have to do some research. Comments are welcome.
2nd Edit: Yes, I'll keep TouchBB on the forum. I added other options also.

Maybe I'll get a smartphone.
They look like they do everything, and you can use them
for just about anything. Do they also make phone calls?

Re: Apps
I have the Camper Leveler app for android. You input the vehicle's wheelbase and wheel width and calibrate it for the location inside the B where you want to use it. Once calibrated, it will tell you how many cm/inches each wheel has to raise to level the rig.
