Default What is this in the way of the Onan generator on Roadtrek?

Hi all I am thinking about buying a 95 road Trek 190 P. Been looking it over today and was trying to get to the generator. There is a large gray chase for lack of a better word right in front of it. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks in advance for any input. In the meantime, I’ll be pulling out screwdriver attachments to take the top off of the generator that under the seat

Are you sure it's there? In most installations it's between the frame rails under the rear end, but I don't know your vehicle.

Picture is dark but it looks like you have some access panel for some other part and like my '06 RT the generator is just in front of the spare, just behind the rear axle. The big obstruction on the right is the wheel well and the little one further back on the left??? no clue. But there is no way you could do any type of service on it through that small opening.

Roadtrek screwed around with the gas tanks on some models and relocated gas filler pipes, lines, and vents. Looks like a fabricated gas filler tunnel to main tank. Mine also has no access to generator compartment behind wheel well (210). 190 would probably similar. Mine was just glued in place.

Thank you for the reply that appears to be correct that it’s a filler for the gas tank. What a poor design.
