Default Trimetric question

Quick question about installing a Trimetric monitor. If I have one large gauge wire between the shunt and the house battery banks and all other grounds and including a chassis ground are on the other side of the shunt will that capture all input and output from the house battery banks?

An example: I have one LED light in the rear that has a positive lead but the ground lead is attached directly to the chassis. Will wiring the Trimetric as described above capture even that small load?

I think the answer is yes but want to make sure.

The answer is "yes".

If the shunt is the ONLY item connected to the battery negative terminal, then all current flows through the shunt and you are fine.

That's great. It's going to be much easier to install than I first assumed. All (I guess I should say most) of the typical house load neg wires, solar included, go to common buss bar that I installed when I did the major electrical upgrade a few years ago.

It looks like buss bar main wire, chassis ground & inverter neg on the other side of the shunt.

Trimetric, Samlex 1500W, some 2GA all to be installed ............. guess who's online garage sale I visited?

Sorry, I've been out all day.

Booster was upgrading his RT so I bought some of the parts he took out of his van.

The Trimetric will replace the little watt meters I have and the 1500w Samlex should be a nice upgrade.

Forgot about Boosters garage sale. Did you see any leftover "Prince" albums?

Maybe, not sure. Thought I saw something purple

If I was there I'd have been too busy looking at the Magnum inverter and the Lifeline batteries installation.

I think you would have to go to davydd's house to get the purple stuff. He lives much closer to the source!

We also have a purple football team and an uncompleted $1B purple stadium that you could probably get if you really tried.

I'm just 2 miles due north of Prince's Paisley Park recording studio but he has never invited me to one of his middle of the night jam sessions.
