Testers for new Balmar regulator needed
Hi all,
Do you have a Balmar MC-614 regulator installed in your coach? This is the regulator that comes with many of the 2nd alternator kits from Nations, or perhaps you brewed up your own install?
We have a new regulator that we are getting ready to release. The regulator mimics the existing performance and functionality of the MC-614 regulator, but adds connectivity to the SmartLink network, allowing for monitoring through the SG200 Color Display, such things as: Field %, Max Field %, Charge Stage, Voltage, Target Voltage. Basic programming through the display. If fact it looks identical to the MC-614 except for the label.
WIth the BT gateway and a smartphone, you can monitor and program the regulator, including all advanced programming functions.
To be considered for testing, you will need to meet the following .
Have an existing externally regulated alternator installation with a Balmar regulator. Installations with other brand regulators may be considered.
Are actively using the installation within the next five weeks. If you are not actively using the installation, please do not ask to participate, as we need feedback to ensure the product's success!
Either have an SG200 battery monitor and BT gateway, or agree to purchase and install the same.
Balmar will provide the regulator and harness, along with a 10 meter SmartLink cable and adapter to connect to the regulator. This will be done at no charge.
Please let me know if you are interested in participating via a private message here. Thanks,
Chris
