The 220 lb weight estimate for 800AH of lithiums I gave was for the cells with balancing boards attached and strapped together but with no enclosure of any kind and no BMS and no relays, display, etc. Came from looking at GBS cells which have been used by ARV and Roadtrek and using the Elite Power balancing boards attached to the cells.

I just reported what Advanced RV told me and they learned about it just recently just in the last couple of weeks. I didn't ask their source. I just know now what I plan to do based on that info. So citing what you have learned from manufacturers literature or what you think you know may or may not be out of date. I'm not going to debate that. ARV is in the business of making sure their battery systems continue to work.

Davydd,

I can't tell if you were responding to my question or not here...

You had said...

"Advanced RV has once again redesigned their li-ion battery packs probably based on what they have learned from mine."

I thought the changes they made might be interesting to understand for those of us who like to learn about such stuff, so I asked...

"What redesign has ARV done on the battery system since your build?"

So, maybe you were responding to my question or maybe not...

But in any case I am sure that ARV continues to improve their systems which is the way to stay on top...
