Certainly. No carbon monoxide to worry about. The main thing is you have to be plugged in. Also, make sure the heater has a working tip-over feature for safety.

We are often on solar/lithium batteries..inverter on. Wondered if 1500 watts would be too much. I love quiet electric, but we boondock a lot.

I don't think it would last the night running that on batteries... even lithiums. I use a space heater most of the time, but always when I'm plugged in.
Do you have voltstart? That might get you through most of the night, but it would be better if you got a lower watt heater... like 700w.

we use a vornado space heater VH202
it is 375w/750w
375 is usually plenty, a gentle waft of warm air and draws 3.2 amps ( at 120 vac)
small, it fits in one of our overhead cabinets

We find a Pelonis 1500 watt over powers a class B unless the outside temperature is below the mid thirties. It’s lowest setting puts out too much heat and doesn’t turn completely off. It works well when we put a digital thermostat in line to control it but is not a good solution. Too much hassle.
A lower power heater will work better. Room heat from batteries is not viable. If you must have heat from batteries use a heated mattress pad. Electrowarmth is one company. I use the AC version with an inverter but they have 12 volt versions.

We also found the much touted Pelonis to be way warm except in the coldest weather and it was more noisy than the cheap ones are.
The Vornado in the link appears to not have a thermostat setting, but they larger output ones do.

Ordered the small Vornado. I have the larger versions which I used in a trailer. But the SRT is a really small area. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, I ordered it from Amazon. My larger Vornados are 750/1200/1500 I believe and in the small area than previous use I think this is a perfect unit. Many thanks.
Now if we can get our brand new a/c fixed. Used less than two hours and sounds like it is coming apart. We live far away from RV dealers and have to pay up front and try for reimbursement.

I have several larger Vornados and they have same hi low middle temp settings. Easy to figure out. Think we will be happy with low setting as very small living area. Brilliantly designed but still small.

They also have the three output setting one with a thermostat. We have had heaters without a thermostat and in such a small space we found we needed that control as low is often too high an output.

The quietest heaters have a squirrel cage blower. Worth the effort to find on the net.

Well, lots of radiant heaters have no fan at all, and so are essentially silent. They only heat where they are pointed, though.
