Love the cooking chair! Hot Seat!
You've got time to go buy some lunch while the burgers are cooking so you can multitask.
Looks like fun. Might take a week to cook a burger up north here. We could put the slow in slow cooking!

Pretty amazing actually. A black metal based griddle in the glass container might speed it up.

The solar cooker uses radiation not heat. There is a YouTube video of a guy in Canada using a homebuilt cooker at zero degrees F. He got his up to 325 ° f. His is better insulated but not nearly as compact.

Do you think something dark and metallic under the burger would absorb the solar radiation and create more heat? Could speed it up a bit. It sure would be a conversation starter at your campsite.

Yes.Most solar cookers use just such a plate. If you watch my video again you will see the plate inside. This also doubles as a baking pan. You will also notice in my video that all the cooking pots are black. I made the chair cooker before buying the Sunflair.The last picture shows the glass container with the Sunflair thermometer because I was curious about what temperature the burger may have cooked at so I duplicated conditions. Today is overcast which is a bummer because I planned on cooking beans. Oh well.
