Solar controller to DC panel

Any reason to not pass the solar controller output to an unused DC fuse position on the DC distribution panel (assuming that allows for the shortest & highest capacity run to the batteries)?

I know the position amperage rating would be one reason as lot of the fuse positions would be only rated to 15A & some DC distribution panels have a couple of 30A positions for things like slideouts etc.
